Pirate Summit Stockholm – May 23rd 2016
Setting sails and moving on with our Pirate Summit Global Tour – today we’ll stop in Stockholm – ARRR!
On May 23rd, we dropped our anchor in the port of SUP46. We thank SUP46 for the great support, especially Tatjana Menke and Lana Kaupuza. Cheers to iSteps App Ventures and DocCheck Guano AG for making our PS Global Tour possible!
The Pirate Summit Stockholm was a blast – the networking was absolutely ARRRsome thanks to the exciting crowd! Also big thanks to Stina Nysaether (500 Startups), Bjarke Staun-Olsen (Creandum) and Kenneth Dambo (Northcap).
Meet the pitching startups here:
- AdventureBox is a 3D game platform where anyone can make and share games with friends or the world.
- connected senses is an analysis for every rehabilitation/ training session right on a smartphone. A chance to keep all the muscles in check and be sure to not overlook.
- iControl is a cloud-based app for construction management and collaboration that iControl allows construction professionals to keep everyone on the same page.
- invigos is a cloud-based writing tool, that helps you to develop your text, your ability and motivation to write.
- MiK is an open marketplace for sharing and discovering homemade meals that offers unique access to an incomparable selection of better food.
- Moggie is the first cat care system with smart collar and mobile app that helps the owners understand their cats in a new way.
We decided to let two startups be part of our famous walk-the-plank competition in Cologne: iControl because they are aiming to digitalize the construction sector – a sector that definitely needs some (more) digitalization – and MiK since they push a scalable business model for a product that everyone loves – food. Excited to see you at Pirate Summit 2016 on our favourite scrapeyard!
We’ll keep you posted, sailing over to Amsterdam tonight – ARRR!
