If sleeping isn’t what you think of first when planning your trip to Cologne in September – fair enough. There will be a lot of action and honestly: a real pirate doesn’t need a lot of rest. Anyway, when the moment comes and you get tired, or you simply start smelling very badly, it is time for you to find a bit of rest and a place to freshen up. We’ve got three pretty neat accommodations for you to catch your well-earned sleep.
The White Rabbit Mansion is a pretty cool and low price hostel that has become THE headquarter for pirates during Pirate Summit during the last years. Stay there and definitely find some other folks with eyepatch and rum breath. A night at White rabbit Mansion costs 35 Euros. If you want to stay, contact owner Dirk via facebook.
Need a bit more tranquility and design? Motel One is a great modern and not too expensive way of having a good night’s sleep. There are actually two houses that are quite central – pick Waidmarkt or Mediapark to get to Odonien quickly. Accomodation from 62 Euros per night.
The NH Köln also offers two possible accommodations. Both, Köln City and Mediapark are four-star hotels located very central and offer superior facilities. Prices start at 62 Euros per night.
And another mid-price place: Four-star hotel Park Inn is surrounded by expansive green space and still extremely central. Check out the standard or superior room, prices start at 56 Euros.
And for the luxury lovers: Hotel Excelsior is a high class hotel next to the Kölner Dom. Super central and super nice! Single Superior rooms are available from around 200 Euros a night.
If we can help you in any way to find a place to stay, please let us know.
